Mew is a 1-year-old Domestic Medium Hair cat in Wichita, KS, who needs $1,000 for diagnostic testing.

Mew has been an important member of our family for roughly a year and a half. We helped a friend looking to home some kittens and mew seemed instantly attached to our family. At first he was so tiny he needed help getting in the litter box and would meow to snuggle under the covers. He was so sweet he fit right in.

Mew loves to sit on the balcony and watch the neighbors. He also likes to snuggle and play with our sons fake fish on his fishing rod. He’s usually pretty mellow unless he feels like zooming around late at night. He loves to snuggle with his blanket at night and will lick and knead it. He’s very curious about other creatures and loves to sneak up and boop dogs and run away.

Sadly this was an unexpected expense we need help with. We are a single income family. Please help my kitty so my son doesn’t lose his best friend. Any help is appreciated. We plan on following up with a regular vet once he’s better and investing in pet insurance.

Recently mew hasn’t been eating well and is breathing a little harshly. We had him seen 4/5/21 and they’re not sure what is causing his condition. The veterinarians diagnostics included several tests such as blood, snap and x rays. Our hearts break to see our kitty sick and miss his fun loving side.

My son and mew often chase each other around . He likes to randomly pop out and tap you and run away. He can be funny or moody, but usually he just likes to be around us and cuddle. He’ll sit and watch me cook in hopes he gets a bite. Our love for mews grown strong. He is definitely part of our little family.
