Mia is a 16 year old Chihuahua in Albuquerque, NM, who needs $500 for Teeth Extraction.

Mia came to us from a friend that could no longer care for her. She came to us with the name Mia . She came into our lives at a very old age we have had her about 1 year and has adjusted to our family well.

Mia has been to the emergency vet office for an abscess on her face about a month ago . The vet treated her for it and advised us that it could come back due to tooth root infection and could need some teeth extracted. However having her teeth removed we run the risk of her not waking up from the anesthesia due tod her advanced age.

Mia came into our lives when my wife was pregnant with our son Mia quickly took it upon herself to assume care of my wife and follow her everywhere and make sure she was OK. Once our son came home Mia again took it upon herself to protect our son and has loved him and protected him since day one of being home

We both work part time I am having my own medical issues and is keeping me from working more hours we are trying to provide for our family and our mia it would mean the world to our son to have his mia active and healthy again.
