Mia is a 5-year-old Mixed Breed Dog in Everett, WA, who needs $1,500 for TPLO.

Mia was being given away on craigslist(I know, I know) her and her brother and several other dogs were living on a farm, that was over run by dogs, and a nice lady was trying to help find some homes, before they took them to the ASPCA.
Mia had abrush with death last year, when she got a sever blood infection, that made her unable to walk, her paws swelled and she couldn't eat.. it was so scary!

Mia is a goofy girl. She demand barks for treats. She will go into my room when it's close to bed time, and bark at me until I get into the bed with her.
She likes to play and go on walks, which she hasn't been able to do recently, cause of her torn acl.
She enjoyed doggy daycare, and harassing her sister.

Mia came to me a month after my soul dog passed away from a rare heart defect.
I was severely depressed and mouring my boy, I don't know why I decided to search CL(cause I don't agree with ppl getting animals off there usually) but I did, and saw the add for her. Someone else was already coming to meet her, so I was bummed, but then that person never showed up, so I went and picked her up!

Mia tore her ACL slipping off the stairs Sunday night.
The vet did X-rays and I was told she has completely severed(4/5 score) her left acl, and slightly tore her left one. she also has hip dysplasia and arthritis in both legs.she is only 5 years old.
She has so many years a head of her, and I want them to be pain free.

I recently had covid and didn't have enough sick days to cover my lost days. This surgery is very expensive even with my employee discount. It will be over 3k, and I just don't have that much right now, but she needs the surgery. she is scheduled for the 30th of June.
