Mia is a 8-year-old Shipoo in Flushing , NY, who needs $2,000 for Radiation therapy.

Mia is just 8 years old. I remember the day I brought her home she couldn’t have been more than 2 lbs. she has been the light of my life since. She has such a sweet personality while still be a sassy little thing. She has been with me through some tough times and always still puts a smile on my face. She loves to cuddle up and get her belly rubs whenever she can.

Mia is just so sweet with others and makes everyone melt. She can be shy around new people but always makes everyone smile from ear to ear. She is pretty timid around most animals except for her cousin Rocco. Around him she is full of sass. For such a little girls she gets the biggest reactions from people .

I never for a second expected this kind of diagnosis let alone the expense that comes along with it. And such a short time to come up with enough to be able to get her the best care possible.

We noticed last month something was wrong. And after several vet visits and test I received heartbreaking news that Mia has a brain tumor. And needs treatment as soon as possible to give her a fighting chance. Without it she only has a couple months prognosis. So she will be undergoing radiation therapy at petcure oncology as soon as possible.

I look forward to coming home from work to see her at the door to greet me with a toy in her mouth. And that little tail wagging. She brings so much joy to everyone she meets. If I ever catch her off guard you better believe she goes flying to find a toy to come to me with. The little girl in her has never left and I wouldn’t want it any other way.
