About this campaign
Mia lives with me and her other 4 cat brothers and sisters. I rescued all these cats from abusive homes, All my cats stay inside with me and are loved and cared for very much. She sleeps a lot but now I do know why. She is the queen of the house. She was taken from an abusive home and is very shy.
Mia loves to be on the bed with you and just chill. She does not liked to be picked up and is not a lap cat but she loves to get pet. She will play with the other cats when she feels up to it. She loves cat nip, but who don't. All the lives in the house gives her much attention and love. She loves to be by her brothers and sisters all the time.
I recently lost what little funding I was getting. I am trying to find a job and will be starting school to better my situation. I myself being a diabetic am having trouble affording my own insulin, how can I afford Mia's? But I have to find a way.
Last year she had a seizure and I took her to an emergency vet in a not so nice place. We were told she died, so I paid the bill and came home. I got a call about an hour later to come back and she was not dead but very much alive. The vet (If he was one) did not give me an explanation. I find out she is diabetic. I took her to Banfield hospital. She is in need of insulin and frequent blood draws,
She is a big girl and when she lays on the floor or bed she lays there on her back with her legs wide open. I just find that funny. Or when I put cat nip down, all the other cats eat it, but not Mia, she just dives into it and rolls around and dominates the cat nip. She makes me laugh when she does that. She is a very sweet quiet and loving cat.
