Meet Mia, my 10-year-old Boston Terrier with the spirit and energy of a playful 3-year-old pup. Her sleek black and white coat perfectly matches her charming and an incredible personality. She's very sweet, loyal, and always full of life. Originally named Alfa for being the brightest of her litter!

I was heartbroken to learn that Mia, has been diagnosed with luxating patella, a condition that caused her kneecaps to slip out of place. Mia was seen by Dr. Ponte at The Animal Wellness Center in Leesburg, FL. She will need surgery on both knees to realign the kneecaps. She’s still the same joyful, energetic pup who loves to greet everyone she meets, but seeing her in pain breaks my heart.

Mia is incredibly smart and loves to show off her tricks. From rolling over and playing dead to ringing her little bell for a treat, she never fails to make me smile. With her big heart and boundless energy, she’s truly one of a kind and brings light to everyone.

Her surgery costs $6,000, and as much as I want to give her the care she needs, I’m struggling to cover this expense on top of my other bills. I don’t want to give up on her. She deserves the chance to run, play, and enjoy life again.
