Mia is a 1.9-year-old Boxer in Lakeland, FL, who needs $1,218 for Mastitis.

I took Mia in when she was 1.3 yrs Old. She was Neglected & spent more of her time either Caged or Tied. Her previous owner knows my love for Boxers so she reached out to me to see if I would take her in, which I did immediately. Ever since she’s been a part of my family. Mia did not get bathed or Nails trimmed & she had issues walking at first.

She resides with 3 Human sisters, Mum & Dad. Also a 1yr Old Boxer Sister, a 5 month Old Yorkie Brother & Her Son. She Loves Water, Sunbathing & Eating. Mia is very active & goes with her Humans everywhere possible. We take her on long family trips out of state & we spend time with her as Long as we can. She’s with someone 24/7.

She is very special to us because even though she belonged to someone else before us, she has always gave us trust & has let us love her & she shows the same in return. She loves to be hugged & cuddle and she’s just the sweetest. The most I love about her is how great she is with my young daughters & how Loving she is with all of us. She’s very woofy & makes us happy.

Mia has always been healthy, 100%. She’s never had a health issue until she developed this mastitis out of nowhere very randomly. I have never experienced anything like it so I’m unsure as what to do. For the most part she has never been sick like she is now. She gets regular vet care but has never needed anything mayor.

I am Low income. My husband is the only one who provides for us & all he makes goes towards bills making it complicated for us to fully pay for her care. I was working full time but ended up loosing my job because I lost my vehicle. I no longer had transportation available.
