Mia came into our lives on 06/27/2017 she is a rescue dog. Even though we rescued her she really rescued our family. She was our missing piece. She was given to us by my husbands friend. When Mia first seen my husband she was instantly happy to go with him. Like she knew she was meant to be ours. She is our only pet in the household.

Mia loves to sleep with her parents at the foot by her mom. She starts off sleeping with her sister (our daughter) then when her sister is in a deep sleep she sneaks off to sleep by her mom. She loves to play hide n seek, and she loves to go “bye bye” even if that means to go around the block in the car she loves car rides.

Mia loves any kinds of treats. She will give you her paw, she will tell you no. She rolls on her back just so her mom can say oh my goodness (in a baby talking voice) she’s spoiled and wants to be rubbed on her belly. She makes us laugh and smile all day. When she tells us no it’s hilarious it’s like I’m arguing with my child.

For the past 4 days Mia has been drinking a lot of water using the restroom alot more. Having accidents in the house (which she never does) has vomited a couple of times, last night she started discharging a bloody mucus. We walked in at Live Oak Animal Hospital in Lubbock Tx and we’re told by Dr. Cristina Hartmann DVM that Mia has Pymometra and needs surgery as soon as possible.

Right now funds are tight. I work a regular 9-5 while my husband is a self employed. Work has been slow due to weather. So I’ve been having to keep the household together as much as I can. Mia means the world to us and would do anything to get her right again.
