I adopted Mia 3 years ago; prior to coming into my life, she had lived for many years in a home that was not full of love and care, in addition to a botched declawing surgery, which sometimes causes her to limp, she is also partially deaf. I'm diagnosed with optic neuritis & fibromyalgia. Have a male cat in treatment for Feline hyperthyroidism, and Mia's condition was something we didn't expect, but we must give her. The only thing keeping Mia from being fully content is the pain she constantly feels.

She’s been diagnosed with Gingivostomatitis, a condition that if it remains untreated, is possible to become so painful that an affected cat will be unable to take in any food and could starve to death. The most effective treatment for this debilitating oral condition is the surgical removal of all of a cat’s teeth. Extraction will provide the best long-term results for her.

Mia's demeanor is calm and gentle, she does not speak - I think due to her deafness - but she enjoys sitting at the window in the morning to sunbathe, play with wand toys, watch bird videos, and most of the time sleep. don't think to offer her tuna, she doesn't like it, at all. She loves chicken. Her favorite person at home is my husband, she stays next to him until he goes to bed.
