Mia is a 4-year-old Pit bull mix in Roswell, NM, who needs $2,000 for Surgery, oxygen and tapping the chest.

Mia is a rescue pet, from a family that didn’t want her, she was living in and unsanitary environment. Mia is about 4 months old. She dose have a Step brother, his name is king, he’s 1 and a couple months. We didn’t save Mia she save us. Mia was just the fist name that came to mind when I looked at her precious face. Or we call her wiggle butts, because she was born without a tale.

Mia dose have her own bed but, in the middle of the night she sneaks on the bed to lay with me. Me is partially death, she can’t hear me when I talk to her, but she has learned to listen to hand gestures. When she’s hungry or simply wants your attention she barks it’s cute, especially with her ears flapped over her head.!

Mias injury was unexpected, when I noticed her breathing wasn’t normal I drove to the nearest vet. After being misdiagnosed three time, I finally found a doctor that knew what was wrong. Do to the misdiagnosed i had all ready ran down all my savings.

Mia has a spontaneous pneumothorax and a collapsed lung. She currently has to be put on oxygen to maintain her breathing. She also had a chest tube in her to help with her breathing. Mia also had had air tapped from her chest, due to the collapse lung. :( Mia is currently at Veterinary Emergency & Specialty Center of Albuquerque. I do not know the doctors name but they have a great tech team.

Mia dose not trust right away, due to her coming from and abusive home. It takes her a little longer to warm up to you, but when she dose she is loving. she is so cute when she wiggles her butt because she has no tale. She is very playful. She loves to run and play with king. She also loves to sleep.!
