Mia was rescued by my mother about eleven years ago. But Mia chose me as her mother. She is my heart dog. Mia has been there for me throughout my teen and young adult years and now I am trying to return the favor and be there for her during her time of need. Mia was diagnosed with an enlarged heart two years ago. We tell her it's because she loves too much and it really is true.

Mia was diagnosed with an enlarged heart two years ago. As of a few days ago her usual cough has turned into a constant hacking/cough even when resting. She had x rays and blood work done which showed her blood oxygen level was extremely low, no signs of heart failure but left questions of what's going on. Next step is visiting a cardiologist to further look at her heart.

Mia loves everyone but especially myself. She chose me and is happy as long as we are together. Doesnt matter if it's flying on a plane, riding in a basket on my bike or paddleboarding on the lake. She is always ready for an adventure as long as it is with her mom.

I am on a limited income and with Mia's recent tests and meds costing over 800.00 the soon to be cardiologist costing 1245.00 and then a follow up appointment to discuss what to do next plus meds I am not sure where all the money is going to come from.
