Mia came home from a backyard breeder with her sister. Mia was given as she had a deformity, her front leg is shorter and paw deformed. You would never know she just turned 9 as she acts like a puppy and thinks she is human. Mia loves going rock climbing, swimming, and hiking.

Mia was born a tripod and now needs one of her legs amputated. We have had the best help from her physical therapy family to the doctors at Medvet to figure out the best treatment to provide her the best life possible. Mia went from PT for a torn ACL to breaking her tibia and now needs her back leg amputated and chemo due to it being broken from cancer.

Mia is one of the most outgoing girls. Even with a deformed limb, she would be right beside you while rock climbing. She loves going rafting and hiking. She has never let her leg hold her back, and now that she has a broken leg, she is still full of energy, not letting it prevent her from being with her loved ones.

Mia's medical treatments will be for life, she will need to have chemo treatments and physical therapy weekly once her leg is gone. To help support her weight to run outdoors, she will need a wheel cart. Mia only had well visits for insurance, living on a fixed income.
