About this campaign

Mia has lived with me since 2019. I took her in from a friend who was moving due to Covid. She is spoiled rotten and runs the house now. She sleeps at the bottom of the bed, chills on the couch, and keeps all the squirrels out of the yard. She loves her kitty brother and sister and her best friend Indi. She “helps” with all of the chores and makes sure we know when someone is at the door!

Mia is a big goofy bundle of love. She loves her kitty brother and sister even though they don’t love her nearly as much. It’s taken years together but Mia finally is able to kiss and cuddle her kitty sister. Mia also tries to get her furry siblings to play with her by dropping the ball on them while they sleep.

Mia’s favorite thing in the world is playing ball. If you play ball with her, she will be your best friend. She will bring you the ball with sweet eyes then run away. She also loves barking at the ups driver and “helping” mommy cook, clean, do yard work, or just about anything. She makes the cutest faces eating pb. Sleeping sometimes she looks like a kangaroo then snores like an old man.

This is our second round of TPLO surgery. Both times she was playing ball when she tore her doggy ACL. We have met with Dr. McDonald-Lynch at Fetch Greenville. Although the surgery is quick, the recovery is a long process over 12-16 weeks. She recovered very well from her last surgery and was back ready to rumble like nothing ever happened. We are hoping for the same results this time!

Unfortunately this is not our first trip to the emergency vet or even TPLO surgery. Last year Mia had pneumonia in January then tore her ACL in February. With unforeseen home repairs and vet bills we have been struggling to keep up. My furry family are my world!
