Miamour ( Mia) was a purchase when she was 7 weeks old. The only girl from the litter of 4. She is now 8 years old, but acts like a puppy. She is a mixed-breed but we know is Maltese, Poodle, Pomeranian and Chihuahua.

Today, Nov 18th, 2025, sitting here at the veterinary hospital, we found out that Mia requires long term medication for pain in her legs, Or surgery. Her CrCL in both needs are damaged. Cranial Cruciate Ligament Disease. These are ligaments in her legs that are damaged. Additionally, Mia has Patellar Luxations, 😢

Mia loves her candy cane toy that we gave her for Christmas 7 years ago. She also loves carrots, melons of all kind, and chicken and cheese. You can’t say any words that start with CH. She goes nuts.

I’m a 70 year old on a fixed income and cannot afford surgery or even the medications Mia will need to be comfortable. Although I’m on a fixed income, Mia goes to the Vet and her vaccinations are up to date.
