Michael is our oldest cat, he came to us about 12 years ago. He came with his sister and we thought he was a girl too. For about a week his names was Zoe. I think they were too young to be separated from their mom when we found them. I think that’s why he really latched on to our little dog Lucky, it’s almost like Michael thinks Lucky is his mom.

Michael needs surgery. Sunday, June 7th, he endured some kind of trauma, we don’t know exactly what. I took him to the vet on the 8th and they stated “there was a traumatic abdominal herniation with intestines herniating through body wall defect into subcutaneous space.” He’s currently staying at Franklin Ranch Pet Hospital so they can monitor him, until he can have his surgery.

Michael is our most loving cat. He cuddles, kisses and loves so much he drools. He is so mild tempered, his meows are so quiet, you can barely hear him. His favorite animal in the house is our wiener dog Lucky, they are best friends. Michael is our oldest cat, he got me through the loss of our first cat to feline lymphoma.

When my father in law passed away a few months ago, we depleted our savings to pay for his funeral. We will do what we have to, like max out our credit cards, but any help would mean the world to us. It would literally save Michael’s life.
