Mickey has been in our lives for 9 years, which is his whole life. Mickey is a small Shih Tzu. He lives in a home with a loving family. He has been a part of every milestone in our lives. He has seen his human sister grow up from a newborn to five years old. They are best friends now. Mickey was given to us as a puppy because he was in a unstable home and we were glad to give him a loving home.

Mickey is a very chill dog. He loves to lay down with us and watch television. He loves to cuddle and give lots of kisses. He has hesitant when a new baby came into the house but afterwards became best friends. Alaia has known Mickey her whole life and loves him so much. Mickey is always there to comfort us in just his presence.

My dad works 16-17 hour days to provide for us all. Mickey is like his own child and it hurts that he can’t come up with so much money at once. This would mean to all of us as Mickey has been with us for almost a decade. We love him so much and can’t wait to see him healthy.

Mickey was sadly hit by a car. He has a broken leg. We called the vets in our area and no one could take him in short notice. We finally took him to one and told us he did not have the tools to do a plate surgery on him. We expressed to the vet that Mickey had not used the restroom but did not acknowledge. Now his bladder exploded and needs surgery right away. It is $7,000.

Mickey loves to play ball. We throw the ball across the room and he slides across the wood floors. He makes us all laugh when he glides through the floor scrambling to get the ball. He can play for hours! Mickey is truly special. He has this look to where he knows exactly what you are talking about. He just knows how to console you with just a look and a cuddle.
