Mickey is a 12-year-old Turkish Angora in Nashua, NH, who needs $1,491 for Tumor Excision.

I rescued Mickey from the Humane Society in early 2010. He lives with my two young daughters and I. He is a beautiful Turkish Angora, 12 years old. He was 11months old when I got him, surrendered. I've had him 11 years, my 9 yo grew up with him. He is the Man of all our Dreams. There's been so much, he even survived a house fire! My Cats are our Pride and Joy.

My two daughters, my two cats and I are a Fabric Tightly Woven. He's very Docile and Sweet, I always joke and say "He doesn't even chew his Food!" But he does, he's a little Piggy. He's not in charge, my female Nebelung, Keoki is and he is like Price Phillip walking Two Paces behind the Queen Elizabeth for 70 years. He's been so devoted to me through all my ups and downs through my Turbulent 20's.

It's me, my 2 cats and my 2 kids at home. I hate to say it but I was abused as a child and was mentally ill for years, very bad PTSD. I got better, I have kids, I had to persevere and I did. I'm doing beautifully now, this Vet Bill is just such an impossible expense still.

He's a Diabetic. I give him two shots of Insulin a Day. I'm at Animal Hospital of Nashua where a lump on his side was tested and came back Abnormal. They want to see if it's Metastisized and if not, then remove the mass. His Diabetes is OK and I'm willing to pay for the insulin forever; my Cats have been with me through very hard times. I have to work on his diet but this Mass is taking Priority.

Hes a Gentle Giant. We call him our little Polar Bear. Patient with both Young Girls. He climbs up on my chest at night for cuddles every night and he gives me a little kiss on the cheek. When I first brought him home, Keoki did a Stretch to show off. They never hissed, it was Family at First Sight. Mickey climbed up on my lap for love, sheepishly, within an hour and has been Home ever since.
