About this campaign

I adopted Midnight for my daughter to be her emotional support pet because she lost her dad a few years ago. Midnight has been with us for 3 yrs now and he has been our bestfriend. He loves our current home where we have 3 flight so stairs that he chases my daughter up and down. He’s our only pet and my daughter and her friends did a name raffle and chose his name.

So we don’t know exactly what’s going on with him. We took him to the Veterinary Emergency Group and they are thinking it may be a blockage. But he’s vomiting, straining to poop, not eating or drinking, lying around and is breathing fast. We are unsure of a direct diagnosis because I can’t afford to get the testing completed. So diagnosis aren’t clear until we can get testing completed.

Midnight is very special because he came into our lives at a very difficult time. I got him right after my daughter’s dad passed away to help her cope with his loss. He’s very funny and talkative, talking about attitude lol he’s worse than my 16 yo. He loves to play hide and seek with us, he loves to play fight and watch movies with us. He’s very friendly and loves to have his head rubbed.

I lost my job a few months ago, due to me being in a bad car accident that has caused some limitations. We weren’t prepared for this kind of emergency, I’m a single mom and financially I’m struggling to make ends meet. It will mean the world for my daughter to keep her cat.
