Mij is a 10-year-old Shih tzu/Pomeranian Mix in Rangeley, ME, who needs $770 for Tooth Extraction.

I always had Labs growing up and adored the breed but the heartache when you loose them at ten or twelve is devastating, so even though my family thought i was crazy I decided on a small breed dog that could possibly live alot longer.I found a couple that were breeding their small dogs that they had bred, then began the waiting for Mijjy.

Mij is her Mommas dog.She cares about others but she loves me unexceptionally with her whole heart and soul. Dad has a beautiful white shepherd that she loves to pretend to hate because well, she doesn't want to share Mum Dad makes her stop licking Mum so he's kind of a pain in the butt.He makes her mind .terrible stuff!

Mij has a stuffed moose she humps!?! no besides being cute and full of personality Mij has been my constant love light. She's nursed me through divorce,empty nest, lung cancer, and now my entertainment in the slow lane I've gratefully adopted at an early age. That's my job now and she oversees all I do.

I've always tried to brush mijs teeth. With special brushes cloths and pastes.When that didn't work we tried Greenies and the like.She swollows them whole so it seemed too dangerous. She's always had the typical horrible teeth of her breed. Worse yet she's always gobbled her food like she's never getting fed again...i've always done the best i could with her teeth appointments for cleaning etc

I can't work with one lung and i've been putting off applying for disability for a while now. Mij's teeth have taken a backburner.She doesn't deserve that. I worry she's in pain all the time. I try not to think about it because there is no way I can pay for it .
