Mike is a 12 year old Himalayan/Colorpoint Persian in potomac, MD, who needs $5,000 for Left Eye Enucleation.

We acquired Mike from a Himalayan cat pet breeder in Pennsylvania 12.5 years ago. My boss's name at that time was Mike Ball, and this little tiny creature looks just like a little white furry ball of joy. Hence, the name was chosen for him!

Mike's left eye had succumbed to an incurable virus and is now blind, swollen, and infected, and has to be surgically removed at Veterinary Referral Associates.

Mike is pure joy to be around, even though he is often mischievous, but that is also what makes him so adorable. He has an admirable quality: he feels his favorite family members' frustrations and offers his love at such times.

In our family, there is only one breadwinner currently, and we are putting our youngest son through the first year of university. Mike is our emotional support.
