Mila is a 17 month old Mix-Breed in Pembroke Pines, FL, who needs $2,000 for MPL Surgery [Medial Patellar Luxation].

Mila came to my life and my life changed to the better 180o. She's the happiest, sweetest, and most loving little thing ever. I bought her from a breeder while my friend was the one that wanted to buy a dog (I had no intention), but when I saw her my heart melted. So she came to me, I didn't go to her. She's been living with my two brothers and I and she goes everywhere we go. She's so loved!

Mila is only a year and a half old and about 3 months ago at a vet checkup visit (Good Vets) they told us that she has stage 2 MPL [Medial Patellar Luxation] and that this is due to her genetics. They said it's fine for now and to just look for any limping or discomfort. Out of the blue yesterday she started to limp and I got really worried, her stage 2 is now a stage 3 and needs surgery.

Mila, also known as Mealsies/BabyGurl/Malooshka/MilaMita, demands belly rubs constantly, jumps on your lap for massages (yes not just pets, she needs a little massage)- if you don't massage or belly rub she will smack her paws on the floor until she gets what she wants! She loves going on long walks, car rides and most of all loves the following treats: Chicken hearts, Cod skins and Beef liver!

I have been laid off of work about a year ago now and have been going through many rounds of interviews since then. I do instacart/uber but I have exhausted my savings. Luckily I live with my brothers, but any side money I have I spend on Mila's food, health & treats.
