About this campaign
I got Mila from an animal shelter almost 3 years ago. She was the only cat put in a room by herself, and she had been at the shelter for almost 2 years and couldn't find a home. She's was found outside, and she was extremely timid and frightened of almost everything. I felt so bad since she was fully grown, and I was afraid she'd never find a home so I had to adopt her.
Mila is very timid and only comes out when I'm there or my mom is over to visit. It took almost a week or so for her to come out and be comfortable with me after I had adopted her. She's very safe in my home, and she has an ottoman she hides under if she feels scared or wants to be left alone.
Although Mila is extremely timid, she's extremely loving and entertaining around my mom and I. She's extremely talkative and she always has to have the last word (meow). I never thought she'd be so loveable, but she always greets me in the mornings and sits with me while I'm working.
Unfortunately, Mila suffers from fecal incontinence. I've taken Mila to the veterinarian SEVERAL times to fix this and I've spent hundreds of dollars on antibiotics, meal plans, probiotics, etc. but unfortunately none of those methods work, and surgery is the only option.
I'm here asking for help because I love this cat, but I don't have the funds to get this surgery. I was a title Agent in FL for years but I've recently been laid off, and my living expenses in Florida have more than doubled.
