Miles came into our lives by luck. My aunt’s neighbor was fostering him from an abusive house. He was going to be euthanized, so my aunt stepped up to foster him. She took him to an adoption event at Globe Life and no one wanted him. So instead of euthanasia, my aunt adopted him. She’s had him for about 2 years. He is now 3. He has one brother Loki, and a sister Sophie. Both are chihuahua mixes.

Miles recently lost the use of his back legs and almost total control in his right front leg. He was diagnosed with IVDD. He was treated at VegEr clinic.

Miles loves to play in yard chasing squirrels, cats, or anything that runs. He loves to play with his brother and do laps around the backyard. He’s scared of men and is pretty scared of loud noises. He loves treats and squeaky toys. He enjoys the sun and laying with my aunt. He loves his people.

The surgery Miles needs is $12,000. My aunt is a retired teacher and is on a fixed income. She is turning 72 this year. She has the time and love to support Miles on his journey, but not the funds. She also supports my 10 year old nephew. Helping Miles would be a dream.
