My dogs name is Milkshake, she is a rescue from the pound. When we got her we were told she was a lot younger than she actually is. Turns out she’s around 10 years old. We’ve had her for about 6 years. She’s the sweetest dog I’ve ever had. She’s so gentle and loving and loves her brother Charlie who is a chihuahua and my 4 children and I.

A few months ago we noticed a growth. We took her to the vet a couple times and was told it’s nothing to worry about. The last couple days we noticed on her side that there is a huge bump. I think she has some sort of infection. It’s causing her to throw up and not eat her food.

Milkshake is very protective of my children. If my kids are fighting or arguing she will shove her way in the middle of them to make them stop. She’s brought so much joy to our world
