Millan is a 5 year old Golden Retriever in Port Hueneme, CA, who needs $677 for Chemotherapy.

Growing up my parents never allowed myself or my siblings to have pets, especially a dog, then I moved out and it was the first thing on my mind. Millan first joined our family of three in December 2018 as a Christmas present to our first daughter. The four of us have been together ever since. Now, a couple of years later, a Labrador Retriever, Kobe, and a little princess joined our family.

One day while petting Millan we noticed what felt like golf balls on the sides of his neck. Immediately we made an appointment with our Vet. We were told they were enlarged nymph nodes and there were more throughout his body. This was a sign of possible lymphoma, a type cancer that affects the entire body. We were referred to Veterinary Medical and Surgical Group for treatment.

Millan is a family member loved by all. As you can see in the video, he loves his squeaky toys. He greets everyone with a toy or a ball. Absolutely loves swimming and likes taking a bath but does not like the rain. Go figure! We love playing fetch with him. One of the fun things is he chooses which ball he wants to play with, with his nose! Too cute.
