Millie is a 3 year old Mix-Breed in Gilbert, AZ, who needs $2,000 for Hotz-Celsus Procedure for Entropion.

Meet Millie!! She was picked up off the streets when she was roughly a year old. After not being claimed, we took her in to join our family of 4 humans, 4 dogs, 2 tortoises and 2 hamsters! Millie fit right in with everyone! She is now about 3 years old and is a sweet, energetic, goofy pup! She loves her humans and all of her furry sisters.

Millie has entropion, which is where her upper eyelid rolls inward causing her hairs to rub against her eye and cause irritation. While the condition doesn’t stop Millie from being playful it has caused her more irritation as she gets older and if left untreated can cause ulcers, infections and even loss of vision. The surgery would pull the lid up and away from her eye so she is pain free!

Millie loves to play with her sisters and any toy she can get her paws on. She absolutely loves car rides and hops and twirls and happily cries anytime she gets to go for a ride! Millie’s other favorite activity… being the keeper of the hamster ball! She will follow them around the whole house and even pinpoint us to their location!

We are not ones to ask for help but this surgery will cost about $3,500 and it was most definitely unexpected. With having 4 other dogs that also require costly vet appointments and care and just unexpected life expenses this was just not an expense we were prepared for.
