Millie is a 4 year old Boxer in Harrisburg, PA, who needs $1,500 for Mast Cell Tumor Removal.

Millie was the last of 12 pups in the litter. She was born 45 minutes after the others so I had to help bring her into this world because mom was preoccupied. Millie is now 4 years old and she is such a gentle soul. She is my 1 year old granddaughters best friend and protector. Millie resides with her Mom, Dad and brother. We noticed a lump on her leg a few months ago and it's cancerous.

Millie is scheduled for surgery in mid August to remove the tumor from her leg. They will then determine what stage the cancer is in and determine treatment details. We are currently taking Millie to Valley Road Animal Hospital in Enola, PA. I look at the lump on Millies leg and I wish there was something more I could do for her. She's only 4 years old and deserves to live a full life.

Millie is what you would consider a digger. She loves to hop on the bed and dig her way under the covers. She doe her best to play catch but being a boxer sometimes her short snout doesn't work with her. She loves my granddaughter and is good with everyone. She's is very gentle and a good snuggler.

The surgery for Millie came about unexpectedly and will have to be paid in full as our vet doesn't accept payments. As of now we have a full house with the dogs, kids and my granddaughter living under 1 roof. Times are tough and this surgery will make things difficult.
