Millie is a 4 year old American Shorthair in Pittsburgh , PA, who needs $500 for Emergency Visit.

We've had Millie since she was a few weeks old, back in June of 2021. She's been growing up along side our kids. We live in a 2 story house that she pretty much rules entirely. She's literally the best cat anyone has ever met. She's beyond sweet and playful. Almost dog like.

On June 5, 2025, while I was away from the house, Millie apparently snuck out of the house while the dog was being let out to go to the bathroom.
She was let in later that night.
In the morning we noticed she wasn't bearing any weight on her left leg. She has been laying down all today. I've put food and water near her so she doesn't have to put weight on her leg.

Millie is absolute god send to our family. She's empathetic to when we need cuddles due to not feeling well. She helps me with my anxiety by letting me just hold and hug her. She plays with the kids all the time. She loves to be apart of their nightly bedtime routine by listeningto books being read and cuddling with us. She lives being cuddled and given pets and purrs so loud.

We just paid so many bills recently that we literally dont have any extra to put toward an emergency vet bill. I've applied for a loan to help get this taken care of but my appointment isn't for a few more days. She's in pain and needs to been seen immediately.
