About this campaign
When I met Milo, she was a few months old and with a neck cast after being mauled. I was going through a very hard time and decided to adopt her to help me cope. So grateful I did! She is the love of my life, my soul pet and is the sweetest girl and strongest girl ever. She is currently living with me as I am stationed in Ohio right now. 7 years later and we’re still attached at the hip <3
In Feb 2024, she was diagnosed with leukemia and lymphoma. We were told it was terminal and she had a few months left. It is now July 2025 and her results came back that her leukemia is gone and she actually has a benign thymoma that is obstructing her airways. The mass is 3 times the size of her heart but is operable!
Milo has a nub of a tail, she cuddles with me under the covers and lives with 2 other cats. During feeding time, she waits for her brothers to finish eating before she goes in and even then, she leaves food aside for her brothers to eat since she knows they love to eat! She LOVES dogs, and she’s the best muffin maker. Whenever I’m sad, she knows and goes the extra mile to never leave my side.
I am active duty so I am on a fixed income, and still pay rent, car note, credit cards, just living day to day. It would mean the world to me just because it’s been proven by not 1, not 2, but 6 different doctors that her mass is operable and a great chance at life with me.
