About this campaign

Milo is a 4.5-year-old Husky and is my companion. I initially was only to foster for a few months due to the previous owner not being able to keep him. When I received Milo to foster, he had lots of scabs around his neck and legs due to the other male beating him up. I have now had Milo for 2.5 years and he is my baby! I am by myself and Milo is my love and companion.

He is such a joy being around. He gets along great with other animals. I even took him to a my niece's dog's (Doberman named Loki) Birthday Party. He had such a wonderful time being with the other dogs. It is just Milo and I in the home but he does have a lot of doggie friends to keep him company. He is a kind and loving boy!

I am currently by myself due to my husband passing away. I have already spent $2000.00 in vet bills and need as much help as possible. I can give more details of his injury. He is my companions and I love him. I want him to live a normal doggy life again.

Milo recently had a major accident on 09/12/2021 and he needs spinal surgery. I was visiting my sister in Tuolumne, CA. and I placed Milo on the back porch to go potty and Milo decided to jump over the porch railing, which is about a 15–foot drop (two stories). He ruptured disc in his spine and is doggie bed ridden. Without spinal surgery he will never be the same and a chance of paralysis.

He is a typical Husky. He is an escape artist that keeps me on my toes. He does have separation anxiety pretty bad when he is not with me. So we spend our days basically always together. He loves to talk with his Husky howl. He loves his toys and loves to play. He is a lovable boy and loves everyone.
