About this campaign

Milo is my 8-year-old dog who has been part of my life since 2018. I rescued him after finding two abandoned female boxers on the side of the road who later gave birth to puppies. Milo was the runt of the litter—small, fragile, and in need of extra care. I chose to take him in so he would have a chance at a safe, loving home, and he has been my companion ever since.

Milo’s health suddenly declined after a routine X-ray and bloodwork visit. He quickly lost the ability to walk and can no longer stand on his back legs. He was diagnosed with a severe spinal injury causing paralysis and pain. We were referred to Austin Veterinary Emergency and Specialty for advanced care. Surgery may help, but there are no guarantees.

Milo is special for his quiet strength and unconditional love. He’s gentle, loyal, and loves people and animals. He enjoys playing, laying in the sun, and sitting in his kiddie pool. He listens like he understands and brings comfort just by being there. He makes everyone feel safe, loved, and never alone—and he’s incredibly smart, sometimes too smart.
