Milo is a 5-month-old Doberman in Menifee, CA, who needs $1,153 for Ultrasound with Intestinal Biopsies.

We adopted Milo the sweetest tripod 3-18-23 after losing my sweet soul puppy to old age at 15 & my handsome boy to cancer at 9, all within a year. Milo was the product of a backyard breeder and born without a paw, the breeder took him into the vet for euthanasia at 6 weeks, he was skin and bones. The vet had the owner relinquish him to her rescue where she removed his leg & treated coccidia.

Milo and our female dogo because fast friends. He has no idea he’s missing a leg and has just learned by himself to jump on the bed and couches. His favorite place is snuggled in your lap, where he could be all day. He runs up to everyone he sees like they’re long lost friends. He turns to mush with neck scratches & is the sweetest boy in the world.

He has the cutest ears that bounce when he runs, his right one always turns inside out & when he steals something he’s not supposed to like a sock it’s hard to get mad bc he’s SO excited and adorable when he runs away with it whipping it from side to side smacking his face with it. He won’t eat unless I’m 6 inches from him. He barks at me while I shower to open the door so he can come in.

He came to us with watery diarrhea but a negative fecal. We took him to our vet a few days after getting him & they treated with antibiotics & endosorb. Still watery stools. Back to the vet bc I got his chart from the rescue and he hasn’t had a normal poop his whole life. We took X-rays and his intestines are HUGE. He needs lots of diagnostic to figure out the congenital disease that he has.

I got into a car accident shortly after getting him and that has cost a lot of money bc I didn’t pick the greatest insurance policy.
