Milo is a 1 year old American Pit Bull Terrier in Mesa, AZ, who needs $2,000 for ACL Surgery.

In December of 2023, my daughter sent photos of her friends puppies she was getting rid of and the minute I laid eyes on Milo I was smitten. We made jokes about it being a Christmas gift for me and we made arrangements for me to go meet him and possibly take him home. I was ready! To my surprise my daughter and her boyfriend did in fact pay for him as my Christmas gift. Greatest gift ever!

While attempting to keep Milo from our female, Bella, because she is in her heat cycle and too young for puppies, we decided to kept him in his kennel. At one point in time, Bella had to be let out of hers to go outside and he was not having it and through quite the fit that caused him to tear his ligament in his left knee.

This dog has been my ride or die. When I got him I was also going through a nasty divorce and healing at the same time. When he knew I was down or having a moment, he was there by my side. He is truly the definition of a gentle giant. We also think he is part human with his cute little mannerisms and they way he likes to talk back when he doesn't get his way.

As most of you know I am already working 2 jobs to make ends meet as I got left with all the debt from my divorce so to tack on a vet bill would put me in more financial hardship.
