Milo is a 1.5-year-old Domestic Shorthair Cat in Norwalk, CT, who needs $2,000 for PU/Stone Removal Surgery and Catheter Placements.

I adopted Milo as a small kitten with his sister, Daisy. Milo also has two other cat siblings, Fireball and Mellie, who are older cats. Milo and Daisy have always been best friends but, Milo softened the hearts of everyone. Fireball, my grumpy old man, has come to love Milo more than I could’ve anticipated. Milo’s name, as he is an orange cat, comes from the movie Milo and Otis.

Milo is the sweetest cat that I have ever known, and I’ve known many cats. He is always happy and kind as well as curious and cuddly. He is the glue that holds us together and he is missed by his entire family greatly while he has been in the hospital. He is the only cat that can cuddle with my oldest and grumpiest cat, Mellie. She will not tolerate anyone else. He is just the sweetest boy ever.

Milo is very sweet but he is also my goofiest cat. He is my nosy boy and will stick his head in any bag to see what you have. I regularly find him going through any shopping bags and my backpack if I leave it unzipped! Any box is immediately his box to play in but he is willing to share. He is always cuddling with a sibling or with me, he rarely sleeps alone.

Milo has been a healthy cat since I got him until he has his first urethral blockage two weeks ago. He had an emergency procedure and then got to come home. He seemed to be doing well then blocked again. For this, he needed another emergency procedure. The vet discovered he had stones and strongly recommended surgery. He has had two catheters put in, a major surgery, and multiple days in hospital.

Recently, we had to move suddenly after leaving a bad relationship. With this, there was less money coming into our home. I also just completed my masters and have not yet found a full time job. I work two part time jobs and do my best to provide for my pets.
