About this campaign

Vanessa S. and her daughter adopted Milo a few weeks ago. The kitty had one of his legs and tail amputated -- but to Vanessa and her daughter, he was perfect! His sad story tugged at their hearts.

"Milo is a sweet and loving boy," Vanessa tells Waggle. "He loves to cuddle, give kisses and play with all his other fur siblings. His missing leg doesn't stop him from running around. Milo follows my 14-year-old daughter all over the house and loves being around her."

So Vanessa and her daughter were devastated when Milo recently became severely ill. They rushed him to the animal hospital to find out he has a urinary blockage and is highly anemic. He needed three urgent blood transfusions to save his life -- and may require more.

Vanessa is struggling to pay for Milo's emergency treatments. He is still hospitalized and receiving round-the-clock care.

"I am a single mom, and this was a very unexpected cost," Vanessa says. "My bill has surpassed $6000, and I can't afford it anymore. I want to save him!"

Vanessa launched this fundraiser, hoping you too find a spot in your heart for Milo and give to his campaign.

"Milo had a tragic life before he came to us, and he deserves a wonderful and long life," Vanessa says. "I cannot think about losing him and not having him at home cuddling with us. Please help us bring him home."
