About this campaign
Milo has been a constant source of love and comfort to his mom for the past decade. Now, he needs our help to keep fighting. After his mom noticed subtle changes in Milo’s breathing and energy, she rushed him to the veterinarian for testing. The diagnosis was devastating: metastatic pulmonary adenocarcinoma, a form of lung cancer. But Milo isn’t giving up.
This sweet boy has already undergone radiation therapy and is now receiving chemotherapy with veterinary oncology specialists at Cornell Animal Hospital. Despite everything he’s been through, Milo continues to show incredible resilience, filling each day with the same love and loyalty that has made him such an irreplaceable companion.
Milo’s mom shares that he has been so much more than a pet — he has been her shadow, her comfort, and her best friend, especially during her own health struggles. His unconditional love carried her through some of the hardest moments of her life. Now she’s doing everything she can to give him the chance to keep fighting.
Each chemotherapy treatment costs $1,622, and while Paws 4 A Cure has generously provided a $250 grant, Milo still needs help covering the remaining costs of his care. His family is working to raise $3,000 to help fund his continued chemotherapy, follow-up imaging, and ongoing monitoring by his oncology team.
You can help Milo continue his fight. Your tax-deductible donation will go directly toward the lifesaving veterinary care he needs. Every contribution — no matter the size — helps give Milo more time with the person who loves him most.
If you’re unable to donate, sharing Milo’s story can make just as powerful a difference by helping his campaign reach more compassionate supporters. Milo has given a lifetime of love. Let’s come together and give him the chance he deserves. Thank you for supporting Milo and Paws 4 A Cure.
5/18/26 Update
We are incredibly grateful to share a positive update on Milo’s journey. Thanks to the kindness and generosity of so many supporters, Milo has been able to continue receiving the chemotherapy treatments he urgently needed as he battles metastatic pulmonary adenocarcinoma. After already undergoing radiation therapy, these treatments have given Milo the chance to keep fighting with the support of his veterinary oncology team at Cornell Animal Hospital.
Through it all, Milo has continued to show the same gentle spirit, resilience, and unconditional love that have defined him for the past ten years. Even while facing such a difficult diagnosis, he remains a source of comfort and companionship for the mom who has loved him so deeply through every chapter of life.
Milo’s mom shared that during her own health struggles, Milo never left her side. He has been her shadow, her source of peace, and her best friend during some of her hardest moments. Being able to continue his care and give him more time surrounded by love means everything to their family.
Because of your support, the overwhelming burden of treatment costs became a little lighter, allowing Milo’s mom to focus on what matters most: making sure Milo feels safe, loved, and cared for every single day.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for standing with Milo during this fight. Every donation, share, and message of encouragement helped make continued treatment possible. Your compassion reminded this family they were not alone, and your kindness has made a meaningful difference in Milo’s journey. 💕
