Mimi came into my life 15 yrs. ago when she was just a month old. Her young mother left her on the back porch steps in the rain. She was crying. I rescued her and took her into my apt. I put her in my bathroom and went out and bought a pet baby bottle and kitten formula. I bottle fed her. I named her after a toy called "Screaming Mimi" because she used to scream as babies will do.

Mimi likes to relax in her older yrs. now with my other 2 cats, Hazel and Pinkie. I rescued Hazel from Animal Control to keep Mimi company. Hazel is 14. They are great friends. Pinkie adores Mimi. Mimi is like a mother to Pinkie who is 5 yrs. old. Mimi is 15. I am 62 yrs. old, divorced, with no children. I am a cat colony caretaker for over 8 yrs. I feed 12 cats, with raccoons and opossums.

Mimi's favorite game is with her 2 favorite plush toys, a baby sloth and a chameleon. She is still "Screaming Mimi". She holds the plush toy in her mouth and screams and then brings it to me. She gets a kick out of this little game. 2 days ago Mimi bled a puddle of blood from her anus or urinary tract. She's still eating, drinking, and she's active. But this is an urgent need.

My 3 cats are practically my only company. Mimi's been my constant friend and my baby for over 15 yrs. I've been on Disability for PTSD, Depression, and Anxiety. I have fought to get well. My faith in God has helped me. I am now well enough to work again. I start my new job on Oct 10. I get paid Oct 30. Even then I won't have enough to help her. I have to pay back rent or I'm put out.
