Mimi is a 9 year old Pug in Glendale, NY, who needs $2,000 for Surgery.

Mimi has been with me for 9 years. She is a great companion and snuggle buddy. She was diagnosed with Open Pyometra yesterday and desperately needs surgery. My vet provided an estimate of $2980 to $4060. I maxed out my care credit for the preliminary exam, blood work, iron shot, and antibiotics. She will not survive without surgery. Mimi went into heat in early March which normally lasts 3 weeks. She has continued to bleed, so I took her to her vet, Glendale Vet Clinic. Dr Anne gave me a dire prognosis that surgery is the only solution or she will die.

Mimi is a noisy little girl. I can hear her snoring in the other room as I tap out this message. She is friendly and always loves a “cookie.” Mimi has been a joy everyday. She is getting a little grey, and maybe slowing down a bit, but she is always ready to crawl in my lap at the end of a long day. She has several dog “cousins” and they get along well, but she lets them know who is boss!
