About this campaign
Mimi was an outdoor cat I feed daily at my uncle's house. However, I noticed she was eating as usual and had a yellow tinge to her nose and mouth, so I took her to the vet. Mimi was diagnosed with jaundice due to toxins and her liver was inflamed so she was hospitalized for 3 day given IV fluids and antibiotics to reduced inflammation. Mimi is doing better and staying indoors.
Mimi is the first one to greet me everyday when I visit my uncle, a retired veteran who is bed bound. She is a sweet and feisty cat that loves to be brushed and played with and is great company to my uncle is alone most of the day.
Mimi is special because she is brings much joy to my uncle and our family lives. She is a sweet cat and protective of her house acting almost like a guard dog.
Mimi's medical situation took place on June 19, of this year. We took Mimi to an animal hospital, where she stayed for IV fliuds and antibiotics until they were able to flush the toxins out.
I am currently the only income in my household of three and my uncle is a retired veteran living on fixed income. Helping us pay Mimi's medical bills will help insure we can continue to take care of Mimi health and wellness and keep healthy and happy.
