Mina is a 6-year-old Morkie in FL who needs $2,000 for Dystocia Surgery.

My name is Lina. I found Mina abandoned in the community starving and dirty without hair. I have been taking care of her for the past 3 years. I have no family or friends in this country to help me pay for the emergency surgery that must be done today 1/11/2024 or she will die.
I have had bad luck for the past few months; I lost my home, my job and my income because my boss suddenly passed away without warning. I became ill; when I was hospitalized, the person who was keeping Mina let her get pregnant. Mina has been in labor since Monday, unable to give birth.
Mina is my life with Roy, my other dog and her best friend. We do everything together; we sleep together, we eat together. Mina walks next to me without a leash. She is calm all the time. Mina is very obedient. When Mina came, I posted that she came to teach me that we don't choose them, they are the ones that choose us! She was scared and ill when I found her; only one week later, she was following me everywhere and kissing me.
Mina is sweet and full of love and affection. She likes everybody, dogs and kids. She brings me her toys to throw and play fetch. She likes to get treats and hide half of the treat in my shoe. Mina is super smart; when she wants to sit next to me, she barks at the door so Roy will move away. If Mina does anything wrong, she tries to pretend that it was Roy's fault.
I took her to a clinic on Tuesday and they required $3500 up front just for the exam, x-rays, and fluids. Now I am at Total Pet Care Animal Hospital; they have been helping me look for funds. I applied to Care Credit and ScratchPay with no approval. Mina has dystocia and needs immediate surgery because labor stimulating drugs did not help her to deliver.
I lost my home, my job and my income because my boss suddenly passed away. I have been living at La Quinta, the only place that does not charge extra for two dogs. A social worker told me about a rescue who sent me here to Total Pet Care Animal Hospital which offers low-cost veterinary care.
