About this campaign
We rescued Mina from a breeder that was planning to euthanize her. She did not meet his liter standards so we took her in. She has been with us for a year and a half. We have a male dog name Max at home. We separated them successfully when she went in heat for the first 2 times, but were not so lucky the third go around and they mated.
She is current in labor and has been since 1/2. Her first 2 pups came out stillborn. When she tired to past the third it was stuck. We took her to the an emergency Vet (VEG in DC) who was about to get the pup out and worked with us the best he could but stated she needed an emergency c-section which we can not afford. All the pups are still born and we are trying to save Mina’s life right now.
Me and my family love Mina and we did not anticipate for this to happen to her. We can’t lose her she means everything to us. She and Max (our male dog) are best friends and she provides emotional support to us all. Mina is the sweetest and most playful dog. Mina is our fur baby and it hurts to think that we will lose her without help.
We had a small emergency fund that we used for both Max and Mina and we used what we had to pay for her emergency visit on 1/5. I have 5 kids in total 2 are minor and one going to college in the fall. Unfortunately we are not able to afford such a large Vet bill.
