Mindy is a 8-year-old Boston Terrier in Appleton, WI, who needs $2,000 for Large Anal Mass Removal.

Mindy came into my life as a foster. I’m taking care of her for a friend that relocated from OH, 4 months ago. She has been a joy and a blessing to take care of in my home. She shares the house with 2 other dogs that came to me as rescues from down south.

Mindy’s pass times include sleeping and begging for food. She sleeps on the couch, perched on top a stack of throw pillows like a princess. She loves hiding her toys in her bed or running around with them, playing keep away from the other 2 dogs or whoever wants to chase her. She gets along with other dogs at the park as well as children.

Mindy is a playfully stubborn pup that will faint like a goat and plant herself in place, if she doesn’t want to go somewhere. She loves being around her human, going for walks, car rides, and the dog park. She also full of all kinds of snoring and snorts and grumbles that comes with being Boston Terrier and having the short snout.

Poor little Mindy has an abscess on her back side. The vet at Blue Pearl pet Hospital said it’s as large as he’s ever seen. He was able to drain some of it but then informed us that she would need to have the remainder of it removed as it could become cancerous. Unfortunately, after having it drained and taking anti-inflammatory meds for the mass, it has once again increased in size.

Mindy’s owner recently relocated here from OH and is not financially stable yet.
And I just recently went on short term disability, so funds are limited. The vet has informed us that the procedure to remove it is approximately $4000-5000.
