Lil Minnie was found abandoned in the stall of the horse barn one morning. I picked her up and brought her inside. She was so tiny and fragile. with an injury to one of her eyes. I immediately wanted to help her and took her to the local vets office. Was given meds for her and ointment for her eye and sent on our way. A few evenings later, she was having a hard time breathing, so I took her to an emergency vet clinic in greensboro. They gave more meds and gave me a vet bill of over $300.. Lil minnie was worse Sat morning so I had to return to the emergency vet, where they kept her, she had pneumonia they feared and kept her in oxygen tank. SHe only made it for a couple of days and passed. This killed me. The vet bill for this was over $1100. They did set me up with scratch pay to make installment payments, but I am struggling making these payments and could use some help.
