Minnie is a 18 year old Chihuahua in Enid, OK, who needs $500 for Diagnosis and Treatment of Possible Dementia.

Minnie was my mother's present 18 yrs ago. At the time she had 2 brothers. Chewy was a 2 yr old chihuahua and Max a 5 month old German Sheppard. She had a kitty sister Snuggles. Chewy and Snuggles passed away 2 and 3 yrs ago at 20. Max passed away at 9. Minnie is the last pet of my adult children's childhood

She has lost her hair, most of her hearing and sight. This past weekend while cleaning the porch I noticed her walking in circles. Then she started looking left and right and back and forth. I took her to my bed and she stood up and just walked off the bed. Later that day I couldn't find her for 3 hours. I found her in the corner of the office facing wall pacing like she was stuck

She loved our kids and fur siblings. She had little dog syndrome towards outside dogs and people .As Max got bigger She would climb all over him and he would lay down and let her. Sometimes opening his mouth as they played. He was so gentle with her. She has always slept with me or the kids

I had lost my job in 2023 and filed for disability. I am still waiting. Our family vet retired and I moved to a new area . I am calling in the morning to find a vet. My neighbor had a similar situation and the dog had dementia. If that is the case I will not let her suffer
