About this campaign
I adopted Miranda 8 years ago from a local shelter. She was given her name because I already had a cat named Blake. So I had Blake (12yo) and Miranda, pre break up. I thought Blake could use a companion and they have been together ever since. We also have a 9yo chocolate lab named Sadie. They all live in the home with my husband and 1yo daughter.
Miranda is a friendly and lovable cat. She loves to hang out on the couch and on my bed. Very chill and laid back. She loves to sit near the window and watch the birds from the trees outside. Her favorite spot would be laying between my legs while we hang on the couch together. Miranda will follow me everywhere around the house. Even as I work out in the basement she is there cheering me on.
What I love most about Miranda is her backwards tail that runs along her back side which has been that way since I got her. She meows when she wants attention and will follow you around until she gets a pet. She is a great cat to lounge around with not into playing much just hanging out. She is a fan of hanging on the couch with our dog and staring out the window when it's nice out.
Miranda started urinating outside her litter box, very out of character for her. The urine seemed blood stained and we worried she had a UTI. The vet found bladder stones which are not dissolvable and need to be surgically removed.
We are in a fixed income and unable to afford such a large bill and go into debt at this point in our lives. Miranda is such a warm and happy presence in our family and I would love to see her healthy again.
