Misce is a 11-year-old Domestic Cat in Bronx, NY, who needs $2,000 for Nosectomy.

Misce came into my life 11 years ago when he was found in the woods of New Jersey. My cousins were caring for him & asked if I was interested in caring for him overnight. Like a newborn, I had to bottle feed, burp, and help him go to the bathroom. Misce was a good kitten but I couldn’t keep him. When cousins asked if I wanted to take him I mouthed ‘NO’ but I heard myself saying “YES”.

Misce is patient and very distinguished. He is my first ‘gentleman’ but not my last. He was very good buddies with my Maltese, Princess & I've adopted two other cats that crossed my path throughout the years. Misce is a good 'Big Bro" and a realist. He takes in what he sees & goes with it. Protective of the home & not afraid to show who's the boss, especially if you are one to cause trouble.

I work as a Substitute Paraprofessional for Children with Special Needs & although I was fortunate to sustain work during the start of the pandemic, I was not offered to continue in the summer. In the interim, my father passed & I've been helping my mother with the expenses

The beginning of the year, I noticed something on Misce's nose. Looking closely I saw what at first I thought was a blister. I was concerned, planning to schedule a vet visit. Unfortunately, 2020 took a sudden stop for us all. It took some time but the appointment determined that it was a growth & it had grown causing Misce to sneeze more, as the growth was starting to block his nasal passages

Misce loves to drink water. Whenever he needs a fresh bowl, he jumps onto the counter or the toilet whenever I'm near the sink. This is the 'Misce Move'; it makes me smile everyday. Recently, he has been playful by reaching out to me whenever I pass by him. He is so fresh & I remind him to be careful as he tends to get his claws stuck into my pants. When he needs comfort, he like to snuggle.
