About this campaign
Misha is a 2-month-old rescued kitten found alone in our backyard on Memorial Day. She lives with us in a quiet, loving home. After initial vaccinations, she developed aspiration pneumonia and is now critically ill. We are providing round-the-clock care with a nebulizer, antibiotics, and syringe feeding.
Misha was diagnosed with aspiration pneumonia after showing severe breathing issues and loss of appetite. She was seen at Bay Area Veterinary Specialists and prescribed antibiotics, but needs further intensive care. We're providing home treatment, but her condition remains critical without hospitalization.
Misha is a gentle, curious, and affectionate kitten who quickly bonded with our family after we rescued her. She loves being held close and purrs softly when comforted. Despite being sick, she tries to stay close to us and responds to our voices. She's brought warmth and joy into our home in such a short time — we love her deeply.
We’re doing everything we can to save Misha, but the cost of her treatment is beyond our means. The estimate for hospitalization and intensive care was over $6,000, which we simply cannot afford. Having her healthy again would mean the world to us — she’s part of our family,
