We have always had a heart for huskies and when we were on our way to walmart we saw a family getting rid of Huskies in the parking lot. We stopped and looked at them and just fell in love with this one. She was only 3 weeks old at the time so I had to get milk supplement and later mix that with food for her to get healthy and strong.

She is a goofy little puppy that sleeps with us in our bed and always seems to pull us from depression when it creeps up. This animal is so important to my family, not just me. We were initially only planning on fostering her to the proper age for home placement but just fell in love with her and now she is another member of the family.

We just relocated to Texas last year, then had to move from that house to the house we are planning on buying. My wife just spent a week in the hospital with pancreatitis and I have constant medical issues from my time in service. We applied for credit care and got denied.

So, today we took her to the vet and she tested positive for parvo, even though she had all of her shots and had seen the vet within the last 2 months for rabbies and wellness check showing she was fine.

This is my best friend, I am a disabled veteran with many many health problems and I lost my Husky wolf mix that was my emotional support animal for like 8 years. This dog looked so much like him and she is just as empathetic, she will lay with me when I don't feel good and she will play her little heart out at any opportunity. I will be devastated to lose her in my life.
