Help Miso heal from a debilitating Tail/Back Injury

Miso came to us late one night, barely clinging to life. He was lying lifeless on the side of the road, his back torn and raw, his tail completely gone. Underneath his fur was nothing but skin and bone, and in his eyes… a sadness too deep for words. He was exhausted, dehydrated, and too weak to even stand.

But when we wrapped him in a soft blanket, maybe the first he’s ever felt, Miso did something that broke our hearts. He leaned in and hugged us. As if after everything he had endured, what he needed most wasn’t food or medicine, but simple, human comfort.

Now, Miso is resting in a cool, air-conditioned room in our shelter, far from the heat and chaos of the streets of Karachi. He’s been sleeping almost nonstop, his body still in disbelief that it’s finally safe. His wounds are being treated, he’s on a careful refeeding plan, and he’s receiving love and care with every step of his healing.

Miso is so full of life. It was thought at first that he was shy and introverted, but his personality has really started to shine. He is so loving and social and is always wanting to make friends with the other animals and people.

Miso has completely changed his personality, he’s like a totally different dog now! At first, we thought he was introverted, but the truth is that he loves other dogs. He’s become so friendly with everyone around him, and his entire face has transformed from one of utter despair to one of pure joy . Miso is healing so well, inside and out and we are so grateful for your support!
