Miso is the newest addition to our family! My name is Kengi and my wife is Sharron. We have three children Ryan ,Rianna and Raiden who is profoundly disabled. We adopted Miso because we knew that pet therapy and having a support pet could be wonderful for Raiden, as well as the rest of our family.

We adopted miso when he was 4 weeks old from a family who didn’t want him. From his blood work at 5 months old we found out his liver is not working properly. We were referred to a surgical hospital where we had a consult and Miso had a sonogram. For Miso to be able to live a healthy life, he has to have surgery and have stents put into his liver. We can see that he is suffering.

Miso came home and our family bottle and syringe fed him, brushed him with a toothbrush, and taught him to use the litter box. Our son Raiden is getting to experience a love no family member or therapist can teach. He has learned to pet Miso gently and is learning how to care for him. Miso loves to sit on Raiden chair and shares school sessions with him. Miso is bringing such joy to all around!

Miso has already added so much joy to our world, especially to our disabled son Raiden! We need your help save our little sweet boy!. I am the only one working to support my family of 5.with 2 children now in college and 1 profoundly disabled child!
